LINE Adopts In-house Company System and Announces New Executive Structure

TOKYO – February 1, 2019 – LINE Corporation (“LINE”) announces the introduction of an "in-house company system" that commences from today, and its new executive structure reflecting the appointment of executive officers as of January 1, 2019.
Introduction of the In-house Company System
At LINE, the in-house company system commences today with an aim to drive business growth and expansion by enhancing operational efficiency and accelerating decision-making processes. Under this scheme, in-house companies are formed within LINE and have their own CEO. Furthermore, each company is delegated authority from the respective LINE director to make business decisions for the organization, such as resource allocation, and hiring of new personnel.
