Starbucks will continue to set the pace in digital innovation, and foster connections with customers by improving customer satisfaction, convenience, and overall experience.
Under its corporate mission of "Closing the Distance," LINE Corporation is driving forward a Smart Portal strategy in which the LINE messaging app serves as a gateway that seamlessly connects users with people, information, services, companies, and brands. It is carrying out a variety of initiatives in its two principal pillars of business – content, comprised of news, manga, games, and other entertainment, and day-to-day services, including payment and shopping – and offering a range of quality services to its over 78 million MAU*. LINE's FinTech services, including LINE Pay that has over 40 million registrants worldwide (30 million of whom are in Japan), are especially well received among users for not only their high level of security but also their accessibility and innovation.
