LINE Corporation has announced that it will host the LINE Conference Tokyo 2016 on March 24th, Thursday to present its current and new business ventures and strategies on March 24th, Thursday.
First launched on June 23, 2011 and built around the idea of fostering communication between friends and family, LINE has grown to become a communication-centric platform with 215 million monthly active users around the world and sales exceeding 120.7 billion yen in 2015. At the previous LINE Conference Tokyo 2014 held in October of 2014, under the theme “LIFE”, LINE announced new services and business partnerships that aimed to become an integral part of users‘ daily lives. These services have shown steady growth in the months in-between the two conferences.
As LINE Corporation prepares to greet the fifth anniversary since the launch of its services, LINE CONFERENCE TOKYO 2016 will serve as an opportunity for the Company to outline its vision for the next five years. The company will recount its achievements thus far while providing a general overview of its future business plans for even greater successes moving forward.
