Eliminate Blocks of Same Designs in Quick Succession to Get High Scores!
Tokyo, Japan – October 28, 2014 – LINE Corporation, owner and operator of the free call and messaging app LINE, today announced the release of block-matching game LINE Puzzle TanTan for its LINE GAME platform.
LINE Puzzle TanTan features the adventures of Tantan the panda as he strives to recover the food stolen from his village. Players simply need to match two blocks of the same food in a line that bends twice or less to enjoy the exhilaration of eliminating them. Tantan’s cute and fantastical world is sure to captivate the hearts of all players.
Two similar blocks lined up next to each other, or connectable using a straight line that bends twice or less, can be eliminated. Eliminate all the blocks on screen within the time limit to clear the stage, and get higher scores the quicker you are. Eliminating blocks in quick succession will trigger combos, and the longer they continue, the more points the player will score. By achieving 10 combos, players will enter Fever mode, in which even different blocks can be paired and eliminated.
Players can also acquire pets using Coins or Gems. These pets can generate blocks that contain Coins, add score bonuses, extend play time, and more, so even higher scores are possible when they are equipped. As players proceed, they can learn to eliminate blocks more quickly, use pets and items to their advantage, and compete with LINE friends on each stage for the high score.
Future updates include a battle mode that enables competing directly with LINE friends.
