Build and Manage Original Soccer Teams While Competing Against LINE Users Around the World!

Tokyo, Japan – June 9, 2014 – LINE Corporation, owner and operator of the free call and messaging app LINE, today announced the release of LINE Football League Manager, the latest title in its LINE GAME series. This soccer simulation game released for iPhone and Android allows players to build and manage their own soccer team. 

  

LINE Football League Manager puts players in charge of their own soccer team, letting them choose from over 10,000 real-life players representing 50 countries to form original teams. This team management simulator also allows users to cultivate their players’ skills and build the strongest team they can in order to go head-to-head with other LINE users from around the world as they vie for top of the rankings.

 

In addition to realistic player images and actual league statistics, the 3D live game broadcast and stadium sounds found inside the game give users the impression that they are standing on the sidelines of their own soccer match.

  

Players appear in the game as Player Cards, each with their own unique skill set and abilities for different positions on the pitch. Player Cards can be upgraded using the rewards given for matches. These rewards vary based on the results of the game as well as the user’s position in the ranking. By clearing daily missions and other achievements, users can obtain points used to purchase new Player Cards and other items to further strengthen their team.

Matches in the game are conducted automatically, but players can watch each match in real time in order to devise future strategies for winning games. The app also includes a special replay feature, ensuring that no part of the action escapes the coach’s watchful eye. 

LINE Football League Manager offers four different ways to play the game.

1. Regular League: Matches are played with other teams belonging to the same league. Teams rise and fall in the rankings based on how well they perform in the season.

2. System Cup: This mode features a soccer tournament in which matches are conducted according to a randomly determined tournament sheet. Winners are rewarded for their success.

3. Ranking Competition: This mode puts all the users against one another in a ranking-based competition. Opposing teams are selected at random for matches, and rewards are given based on ranking results.

4. World Tour: Users travel the world playing soccer matches against teams from each country in this mode.
